Together, We Shine: Celebrating Student Creativity

At Communities In Schools, we believe in the impact of relationships. Accountability and support is critical to the success of our students, and we see that reflected every day on campus.

As we started the new school year, we wanted to honor that idea with a student art contest, Together, We Shine, inviting students from our primary and secondary campuses to explore and illustrate what it means to work together.

Over the past few weeks, students shared their artistic talents and unique perspectives through incredible works of art submitted with the help of their site coordinators. From colorful representations of friendship to creative abstract stories, each submission reflected the creativity and compassion of the students we serve. Because we are so much better when we work together.

We're excited to showcase twelve outstanding pieces selected from entries across our schools. Each piece offers a unique interpretation of what it means to work together and strengthen our communities. Their artwork reminds us that no one succeeds alone. Whether in the classroom, at home, or throughout the community, we shine brightest when we support one another.
